The Stag Do: Newquay

Many people didn't think they would ever see the day, but when Matt propsed to Vicki at the top of the Empire State Building in New York in Nov '08, the boys were already planning the stag do. This was always going to be a big event with many not wanting to miss out. Who was going to be asked to be Best Man? Where would the stag do be held? What would Matt be getting himsefl in to after years of playing pranks on so many poeple?

In January 2009 Matt had to decide between two people to be his Best Man. In the end it was to hard to call and the stag do alone was always going to need two Best Men, so up stepped Red & Shaun.

So could the comical duo of Paddy & Red deliver a stag do to remember? Would they get all the boys to get all the way to Newquay? In the end they made it look easy as the weekend went like clock work. Boys, it was a great weekend and you done the stag proud.

Early start on Friday for 11 of the boys as they head to Newquay to beat the traffic. They arrived at 10am, checked in and headed in to town to The Central Bar. After a couple of beers it was down to the beach to play footy in the sunshine. Matt had to wear Banana Man outfit and then the infamous Mankini during the day. It was then back to the hotel to meet the rest of the stag party before heading out in to town for the night.

There were many sore heads Saturday morning but most of the guys made it to paintballing at 10am. The highlight for many was shooting the stag at the end! After a good old country pub lunch it was off to go-karting. Chunky crashing in to a wall of tyres on the warm up lap was a very funny highlight! After more drink at the hotel it was fast food and more drinks in the bars of Newquay, ending up in the Walkabout until the early hours.

The first bit of rain arrived, the cafe got bombarded, then it was good byes as the stag party left Newquay just after 11am.
